Jesse recently returned from India after spending a week working alongside ICM in the mountains of India documenting the conditions faced by the isolated villages in the country.

Jesse recently placed 1st in the 3rd Annual ArtCNU Juried Photography Exhibition at Christopher Newport University.

Jesse recently displayed a solo exhibit on his works from the Haiti earthquake for a Black History Month event sponsored by the Office of Student Activities at Christopher Newport University.

Jesse recently had work shown at the Invidia Art Show on the campus of Christopher Newport University.

Please help the victims of the earthquake by donating money to Point Harbor Community Church in Chesapeake, Va. All of the money raised will go towards helping both the Good Samaritan Hospital in Jimani, Dominican Republic and the injured living in Cité Soleil, a commune in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Jesse is doing his part for the Haitian relief effort, donating photography from his June, 2009 trip to "Hope for Haiti Now." MTV Network's “Hope for Haiti Now” is a global telethon that aired commercial-free across ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CNN, BET, the CW, HBO, MTV, VH1 and CMT on Friday, Jan. 22, at 8 p.m. ET. The telethon will be hosted by George Clooney in Los Angeles, Wyclef Jean in New York and CNN’s Anderson Cooper in Haiti.

Jesse just recently traveled to Quito, Ecuador to work with Fundación General Ecuatoriana, a nonprofit dedicated to helping children with mental disabilities in a culture that does little to support those with disabilities.

Jesse improved his mark in the shot put at the CNU Holiday Open throwing 32'-08.25".

Jesse recently attended the College Communicators Association Fall Conference in Williamsburg, Virginia.

"Faces of CNU," a portrait project I created at Christopher Newport University was shown in the Falk Gallery on the campus of Christopher Newport University from September 17, 2009 - October 9, 2009.

Jesse just opened his first solo photography exhibit in Danville, Kentucky of his photographs from Haiti. The goal being to educate the public on the issues the people of Haiti face and to raise money to help the children on the island. - August, 2009
